Mindful Meditation for the NBHWC Exam
Before each study session, take a moment to read or listen to this mindful meditation to help you feel grounded, focused, and ready to show up strong for the NBHWC exam.
Find a comfortable space. Put both feet on the ground and sit up tall.
Close your eyes gently, and take a deep breath in through your nose… and slowly exhale through your mouth.
Picture this:

You open your eyes feeling clear, calm, and steady.
Your body is rested. Your mind is sharp.
You know you've prepared for this day.
As you rise and begin your morning, a calm assurance settles in.
You’ve studied with focus and intention.
You’ve absorbed what you need to know — and it’s all there, ready to support you.
Any nerves you feel are simply energy —
Alive in your body, reminding you that this moment matters to you.
Instead of resisting it, you welcome that energy — and let it settle into calm, focused confidence.
If you’ve struggled with tests in the past, know that this is not the same.
You are not the same.
You are more prepared, more supported, and more grounded than you’ve ever been.
